Nicolai started studying guitar, piano and music theory at a young age, soon discovering that his true passion is creating music.
Early 2013, after spending years writing music for smaller projects, he did an internship at BLUWI – one of Germany’s most successful companies in the music industry – where he gained a lot of experience composing and producing music for media, including movies and TV commercials.
Later that year, he started another internship at Dynamedion, Germany’s leading video-game audio company, where he composed music for various projects under the creative guidance of world renowned composer Tilman Sillescu.
He’s a member of Dynamedion’s team of composers since then, writing and producing music for video-games like “Mortal Kombat X” or “Hitman (2016)“, Native Instrument’s “Emotive Strings” and also TV-series like “Dream Mixer“.
Nicolai Patricio devotes his life to his craft and is always ready to be part of new and inspiring projects.
For his compositions, Nicolai is always reaching for fresh approaches instead of creating generic cliche music.
Inspiration comes from modern film composers like Michael Giachino, game composers like Jeremy Soule and classical composers like Vaughan Williams and Sibelius.
