Dynamedion was founded in 2000 by Pierre Langer and Tilman Sillescu, two composers with university degrees in music. Since then, Dynamedion has become the European leader in music composition, sound design, source sound recordings, live orchestra production and audio integration services for international game audio. With over 2,000 released games, TV series, trailers, films and movies, Dynamedion stands for unsurpassed quality and integrity. In 2009 the Dynamedion sound team founded the BOOM Library, one of the most popular sound fx libraries in the world. Since 2017 Dynamedion has teamed up with the Noiseworks team in London / UK, forming an exclusive partnership for extended audio services.

EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Over recent years, Dynamedion has worked on over 2,000 projects in the videogame, TV and film industry and has been showered with numerous prizes and music awards. In 2003, 2005 and 2006 some of the team’s compositions were performed live at the opening concert of the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany – the first event of its kind in Europe.

IT'S THE ARTISTS THAT BRING MUSIC TO LIFE

At Dynamedion, we don’t believe in purely synthetic music productions. Apart from specializing in the production of orchestral soundtracks with large live ensembles, we have also developed a new production technique which breathes life into synthetically based soundtracks, creating a more vivid sound experience. Dubbed “Mixed Music Mode“, it involves blending basic sampler data and additional live instrumental and vocal recordings to create a unique composition precisely tailored to the individual project.

CONCEPTUAL PLANNING

Before launching into the creative process of composing, our team meets with customers in “spotting sessions” to discuss requirements and wishes concerning setting, envisaged atmosphere and style of music. The findings are used to sketch the central theme, or leitmotif, of the soundtrack, and form the basis for ongoing dialog throughout the further course of collaboration. All issues are set down in a design document, which represents a central planning element and helps combine all technical, organizational and content-related aspects of the project to a homogeneous concept.
