Michael Schwendler was born in Bingen near Frankfurt in Germany. After finishing his studies in environmental science he started to work for Dynamedion as an external composer for royalty-free license music.
Making his passion a profession he joined the Dynamedion Team in 2005. Michael Schwendler is an award winning sound designer for video games and movie trailers. After two years he won his first award (German Developer Award) for the soundtrack of the video game “The Settlers 6”. Ever since he’s been working on a huge number of projects including many AAA titles like Alan Wake, Mortal Kombat X, Elder Scrolls online and many more. Michael’s meticulousness, his very critical ears and his demand for nothing less than the best possible quality led him to the role of Dynamedion’s Lead Sound Designer and we’re happy to have him in our team.
In the year 2010 Michael joined the just founded BOOM Library right from the start as one of the main sound designers. His work can be found in a plurality of BOOM releases.
He also has a passion for analog outboard gear and offers mastering as an additional service.
