TECHNICAL SOUND DESIGNER

Dobrivoje (born 1981) is a sound designer and educator, born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, and currently based in Athens, Greece. His professional journey spans more than two decades and blends academic roles, game audio, electronic music, and innovative artistic projects for gallery and stage.

He began his formal education at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he earned both a B.A. and an M.A. in Sound Design for Film, Television, Theatre, and Radio; his master’s thesis focused on creating Foley effects (2006). His passion for sound design and his growing interest in sound–space–audience interactions, driven by curiosity and persistence, led him to earn a D.A. in Polymedia Art with the interactive sound sculpture “Phonosynthesis: Sound Bouquet” (2015). He was one of four sound designers who contributed to the cult game Scorn (2022), and he worked as a music designer on Alan Wake 2 (2023), joining the BAFTA-winning audio team.
